Smith Partnership is set to support Pride Month 2019 by releasing a series of topical articles, we plan to inform you of areas of law affecting the LGBTQ+ community. The month of June was chosen for Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact that LGBTQ+ people have had in the world.
We plan to release one article per week on matters including; Hate Crime, Workplace Harassment and Same-sex marriage laws.
