Bags of joy at RSPCA

The team at Smith Partnership were honoured to have recently visited the RSPCA, which is the oldest welfare charity around on Abbey Street, Derby hand delivering over 100 bags of donated items for their newly opened charity shops.

RSPCA was chosen as the official charity for Smith Partnership in January 2018, with its employees taking part in a number of fundraising activities, such as quiz nights, bake sales and pumpkin carving completions; having collectively raised over £1,000 so far!

Claire Twells, Partner at Smith Partnership said: “I was very humbled to have helped deliver the donations, kindly donated by our employees. They mean so much and really help raise the much needed funds at the charity shops.

“The incredible team at RSPCA prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of all animals. Our teams understand many of the issues involved as animals as close to so many people and they are a massive part of their lives.”

Smith Partnership, one of largest firms of solicitors in the East Midlands, is very proud to have chosen RSPCA as its official charity, as it was first to introduce a law to protect animals and work hard to ensure that all animals can live free from pain and suffering.
