Administration Assistant – Dispute Resolution - Derby

Full Time - 9AM to 5PM (Monday to Friday)

We have an opportunity at our Derby office, for a Legal Assistant to join our Dispute Resolution team specialising in Aviation claims.
About us:
We are a growing firm, renowned for exceptional client care, and our straight-talking, jargon-free approach. The Aviation Law team at our Head Office in Derby manages claims on behalf of airline clients. Claims primarily relate to the payment of statutory compensation following flight delays/cancellations.
Role overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our Dispute Resolution team at our head office in Derby. The successful applicant will be joining a growing department and will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- File management including opening files and onboarding of clients.
- Providing administrative support to the department.
- Audio typing of letters, reports, and other documents.
- General administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
- Call handling
- Management of post.
Skills:
- Experience of working in a secretarial/admin role.
- Previous experience in a similar secretarial/administration role would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism.
- Time management experience
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Experience of audio typing is preferable, but training will be provided.
- GCSE or equivalent Grade A-C in English and Maths.
