Paralegal – Crown Court - Derby

An opportunity has arisen at our Derby office, for a Paralegal to join us in our Crime Team.

The successful candidate will be joining a long-established department with a highly respected team of Criminal Defence Solicitors. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of accessible and responsive legal support, working with a strong team who value clients and work hard to support them, on hand for 24 hours a day to represent clients at any and every stage.

Role overview: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Crown Court team. The successful candidate will support our solicitors in handling a variety of legal matters, ensuring efficient and effective case management. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to advance their career in the legal field within a reputable firm.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Crown Court or Criminal Paralegal 
• Strong research and analytical skills with a focus on crown court legal issues.
• Police Station Accreditation, whilst not essential, would be a positive attribute for candidates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism.
