Smith Partnership is a leading law firm in Staffordshire, a forward thinking and progressive company employing 200 staff throughout 6 offices in the Midlands.

We are a growing firm, renowned for exceptional client care, and our straight-talking, jargon-free approach. Our Stoke office currently specialises in Child Care, Private Client and Criminal Law, and now, thanks to our new larger premises, we are looking to establish Conveyancing and Commercial Property departments, as well as the exciting expansion of our current well-established teams.

Role overview: 

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Stoke branch within our Private Client, Conveyancing, Family, and Commercial property teams. For the following roles: Paralegal, Legal Assistant and Legal Secretary. 

The successful candidate(s) will support our solicitors in handling a variety of legal matters, ensuring efficient and effective case management. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to advance their career in the legal field within a reputable firm.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in Law or a relevant field, LPC qualification is desirable but not essential (Paralegal role only).
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, 
  • Strong research and analytical skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism.
