What I do
I am an associate Solicitor within the Childcare department at the Stoke on Trent Office.
I represent parents involved in childcare proceedings and the pre proceedings (Public Law outline) process.
I conduct advocacy at court, advise clients on interim Care Orders, Supervision Orders and Special Guardianship Orders. I have acted for clients lacking capacity and therefore taken instructions from the Official Solicitor.
I routinely represent parents subject to care proceedings, but I have also represented grandparents wishing to make applications within those proceedings. I have advised and assisted clients incarcerated whereby their family Law proceedings have been significantly impacted by their criminal proceedings.

Admitted to the roll of Solicitor on 5th September 2023.

I take a friendly, sincere, professional approach with my clients whilst offering objective, realistic advice on sensitive issues.
Prior to specialising in Family Law, I worked within the Criminal Law sector including Staffordshire Police as a Police Officer.
I have also worked with diverse groups of ex-offenders providing advice and guidance into education and employment.
Key interests
I enjoy running outdoors and going to gym classes. I cherish spending quality time with my two children. I enjoy socialising with friends, shopping and travelling abroad.
