What I do

I joined Smith Partnership in 2019 working in the Business Development team. In 2022 I became a member of CILEx Law School, and now work as a Qualified Paralegal in the Family Department. I continue my studying with CILEx with the hope to becoming a lawyer.

I provide support to the other family fee earners alongside having my own case load including divorce, finance and private-law children cases.

I pride myself on being friendly, approachable and supportive to our clients.

I’m a real stickler for spelling and grammar, constantly on the lookout for mistakes to correct!


I like to think I bring an amount of humour (and sarcasm) to the team.
 

I am always trying to set myself targets to achieve in my personal life as I like to keep busy! It is usually a fitness goal or helping others in some way. I try to devote time each year to raise funds for charities including volunteering in schools in Kenya to helping local schools in the Derby area.

I am a keen runner, having run several 10K and half-marathons and in 2021 The London Marathon for Asthma UK. 


I’m the proud owner of three children and a three-legged cat. All of which keep me very busy outside of work (the cat not so much).

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help with the divorce process especially as it was in the run-up to Christmas. You went above and beyond and I really appreciate the effort you made in making it so much less anxiety provoking than it could have been.
