Trusts and Estate Planning
What I do
I have been qualified and practising in the area of Trusts for more than 25 years. I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I advise clients in relation to the creation and administration of trusts, which includes the preparation of sometimes complex trust deeds and documents, chairing Trustees’ meetings, dealing with beneficiary distributions, HMRC compliance, trust taxation and accounting, liaising with accountants and financial advisers, and winding-up of trusts following their termination. I have particular knowledge and experience of trusts holding agricultural and business assets. I also advise clients in relation to their estate planning affairs, which includes the preparation of wills incorporating trusts and Inheritance Tax mitigation.

Key interests
In my spare time, dancing and music are my passions. I used to compete in Ballroom and Latin dancing, and these days, I still enjoy going to social dances. I also love to stay active, playing badminton a few times a week, and getting outdoors, hiking and exploring new places.
