Smith Partnership stepped back time to 1987 at its recent 30th anniversary bash for staff, with an impressive line-up for nostalgic entertainment to ensure everyone danced the night away!
Over 130 Smith Partnership employees from across the East Midlands attended its anniversary bash at the Queen’s Halls in Derby, entertained by fire-eaters, a live band ‘80’s Rewind’ - Boy George, Duran Duran, Madonna tribute acts and some classic look-a-like performers including Marilyn Monroe, Dolly Parton and Frank Sinatra.
Steve Mann, Chief Executive Officer at Smith Partnership spoke about anniversary bash: “All the partners and staff had a fantastic time celebrating the 30th anniversary of our business, with many original staff still employed, helping us to be one of the leading law firms in the Midlands.
“We have hosted so many events during 2017 to support our clients and the communities in which we serve, including our Marketing Derby partnership events. However, our staff party was the hi-light of the year, as we came together to toast the last 30 years and to look forward to the future with pride and optimism.
“I was very proud to make a speech during the evening to toast to our success, and I was pleasantly surprised to be followed by a singing Marilyn Monroe, who jumped up out of our cake to sing Happy Birthday to us all - it was a night to remember!”
