Investing in staff through the appointment of Head of HR
We’re proud to welcome Sarah Reader to the firm as the newly appointed Head of HR.
Bringing a wealth of experience from her 18 years in the industry across a variety of sectors, Sarah has previously worked in the NHS and at a Multi Academy Trust. Sarah is a member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is a qualified mental health first aider. The recent appointment is part of a plan to further invest in the culture at Smith Partnership and the development of staff.
Sarah’s wealth of experience in the HR industry will allow her to assist the firm in strategic planning for staff development, she says “The visions the firm has, in relation to the HR function, was one of the major appeals of the role. The culture surrounding their staff really resonated with me - there’s not many companies that can boast some of the lengths of service we currently have and that speaks volumes.”
She adds “I can’t wait to get stuck into developing the HR function. I feel there is so much we can do to support the firm in delivering its vision and values for growth in the coming years. I’m looking forward to developing our people strategy and working with our stakeholders.”
